I've been busy...

making cranberry sauce!
24 pounds of cranberries and 20 pounds of sugar later, I'm almost done.
This is a recipe that hubby's grandmother and mother used to make.
I'd never made it until a few years ago and had to call my
daughter for the recipe since her grandmother taught her.





I'm always amazed how many people have never, ever
had the REAL thing!
So tomorrow will be spent delivering the fruits of my labor of love.

ah I remember that! you gave us some last year. I love cranberry sauce. even the canned kind. But I have to agree. REAL home made cranberry sauce is the way to go! Way to go Jane! you have been busy! Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!

Looks delicious! I have been downing cranberry juice lately. Where did you get fresh cranberries?
