for most of last school year Arlette and I had been talking about going to
Duke's for lunch when 1. school was out 2. graduation and party was pau 3. before I went
to the mainland for grands b'days and 4. school started again.
it was a beautiful day and really not crowded.
Arlette's cousin is De De from Aloha Beach Services, so I had gotten the guys some
Pa'alakai Market fried chicken for lunch.
Arlette had never been to actually eat at Duke's...so it was a treat for her.
made to order pasta and salad bar...YUM
of course we had to end our 2 1/2 hr lunch with a shared hula pie
Duke's...still my very favorite place
