Na Hula is coming! Been busy practicing (oh my poor knees).
We just found out that there is going to be a HUGE change this year...
it's being moved to Waikiki Shell from the Bandstand.
It's a pretty big change for us...always being used to
dancing on the flagstone stage, dancing around
the pillars and being slow close to the hula sister next to you,
you're always touching each other.
Well now...
We have to spread out so far it's crazy! The stage is huge!
This year I'm dancing on the side because I'm only doing two songs (knees again),
instead of the middle.
Ms. Alama isn't even sure we will get to practice there before
the actual performance day...which is a little daunting.
Well it should be an experience for sure.
Another huge change is that this year, Hawaiian music artist, Tony C,
is going to be playing for us.
So all around it should be a wonderful chance to give our hula
to our friends and family.
