On the 4th after we left breakfast, we came across this sight up at Sunset...
it was a Stand Up Paddle and Paddle board race called, Hui O He'e Nalu.
We read that there were 545 people doing this 7 mile race from Bay to Bay (Turtle Bay to Waimea Bay)
These were the leaders in the paddle board division. This is at Sharks Cove, near the end.
hubby explained that paddle boards are faster than SUP's
part of the crowd waiting for the finish at Waimea.
No we didn't stop...holiday traffic was already starting to get crazy.
On thing for sure it was a beautiful day!
