Waimea is considered one of the most sacred places
in this state. One our return from the mainland,
we were so surprised to see the wind turbines
looming over the valley.
I took these photos from the parking lot at the entrance.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that we need to find alternative
energy, but seeing these above beautiful Waimea is just so wrong.
