Every year the local Lions Club sponsors a "Story Telling Contest".
In A-10 it's an assignment to try out and then the class votes.
Interesting fact: Waialua Elementary has a "real" cafeteria, stage and even a kitchen. The beautiful
mural at the back of the stage depicts early Waialua. It's really beautiful.
We had stories about chickens,
a story about "Mirror, Mirror",
a local rap version and a
a take on "Three Little Frogs"
Mrs. Luarca and her storytellers.
The day ended with ice pops...all is well.
