Kauai has been getting pounded in the last 24 hours...this is the NOAA
weather map from last night.
We started getting a taste of it about 8:30pm,
thunder, lightening, pouring rain and a drop in the temperature.
Add the high surf...we're seeing it all.

There are flash flood warnings, over 12 inches of rain in 24 hours on Oahu
alone. The ground is just saturated.
We saw weather like this the first winter we lived here. Storms kept getting
stalled on the Koolaus that results in flooding and 40+ days of rain.
Lets hope we don't have that again.
Just a few hours of good sunshine to dry everything out.
