Saturday was an event here close to home, "Taste of Waialua".
It was a little warm, so we didn't go over until late, but still fun.
There had been even more people there early.
Visited with sweet artist, Jamie Swim. Have our eye on a new piece or two.
There was even a queen
Hubby bought a hybrid ginger that he was fascinated with.
Nice to have something like this out here with a spotlight on
our local artist and products.

I am Hilo, Honolulu girl from 1947. I reside now in California. Hula began for me in Hilo and later in the mid 50's I began in Honolulu with Puanani Alama.
I am researching my life and i'm not certain if your blog is referring to the Puanani Alama I knew. Please advise.
