As the day continued with the pig cooking in the imu, there seemed to be alot of this going on...
as it got closer to the time, everyone came down to Francis's house
to watch. I know that some people hadn't ever seen this
done before. Just like they do at PCC
Francis was right there telling explaining to Jason and Ed what to do.
They were great!
The pig is wrapped in chicken wire to keep it together while
it cooks, otherwise all the meat would just fall off.
Francis, our great neighbor always willing to spread his
aloha
Jason just wanted to give a word of thanks to everyone that made
it possible. Mahalo to you Jason, you and Ed were da bombs!
The evening ended with Lili dancing to "Somewhere over the Rainbow"
that she'd done for her school performance.
It was a great time. I know that people left not only full of
great food, but also a real sense of Aloha.
