A special "find"

Jack was using his mask in the shallow water and came running back up the

beach with a "special" treasure.

Don't think I've ever seen such a small urchin.

Lauren had a little bit different take on using the boogie board. 

She practiced standing up on it (beater board?)

 Ran in the water that was left on the beach

 Jump up and ride the board

 and do a little "off the lip"!

How to sand slide by Jack

Last summer someone had given the kids some boogie boards when they were leaving, so I kept them.

Hours were spent perfecting the art of "sand sliding".  They each had a little different take on it.

Here's Jack's...

"You wait for the wave to come and go out so there is just a little bit of water left

 then you run and push the board as fast as you can...

 then you jump on...

and spin around.  That's how you do it!"



A Grand Visit...

This folks just left.  They were here for 9 days.

Most of those 9 days were spent at a beach called "Three Tables".

 There was lots of standing on boogie boards

 and lots of fish to been seen and compared to the fish charts.
