Saturday was the wedding of my good friend Kay and the love of her
life, Jeff.
I was her secretary while she was the RS president in our ward,
so I know how happy she was when she'd found Jeff and how much
they were looking forward to this day.
I had been beautiful for most of the day, then some trade showers started, but
just as she was starting to walk from her house across from Ali'i Beach, the rain stopped.
One of the girls from our ward made her beautiful cake.
Kay and her two sons and grandson walking her to Jeff
five of her granddaughters were the flower girls
(yes Kay made all their dresses)
her daughter, daughter-in-laws, best friend and Jeff's daughter
they were so happy!
My friend Teri, did the Kay's haku and all the leis...they were beautiful
the rings were tied so tight to the pillow, so the ring bearer wouldn't drop them
Jeff and his daughter sang a song then Jeff sang a song that he's written for Kay
hubby was so happy! there were hot dogs! supposed to be for the kids...but he's
a big kid, so it was ok!
Mr and Mrs. Edwards off to Kauai for a week, then back to Australia for
the next chapter in their lives.
Congratulations!
We love you!
